When you access one of our publishers’ mobile web applications from a touch device, you will be utilizing our Services that power the content and experience of that application.
If you create an account on the Services (an “Account”), you will provide information that could be personally identifiable information, such as your username, password and email address. You acknowledge that this information may be personal to you, and by creating an account on the Services and providing your personal information to us, you allow others, including us, to identify you and therefore may not be anonymous. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services, but only rarely when we feel such information is important. You may unsubscribe from these messages through your Account settings, although we, regardless, reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for account recovery purposes.
Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect information from your browser when you access the Services. This information includes your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us (read more about our Cookies Policy), and the referring website address.
To support and enhance the Services, we may serve advertisements, and also allow our publishers or other third parties to serve advertisements, through the Services. These advertisements are sometimes targeted and served to particular users and may come from third party companies called “ad networks.” Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms.
Advertisements served through the Services may be targeted to users who fit a certain general profile category and may be based on anonymized information inferred from information provided to us by a user, including personally identifiable information (e.g., gender or age), may be based on the Services usage patterns of particular users, or may be based on your activity on Third Party Services. We do not provide personally identifiable information to any ad networks for use outside of the Services.
We collect statistical information about how both unregistered and registered users, collectively, use the Services (“Aggregate Information”). Some of this information is derived from personally identifiable information. This statistical information is not personally identifiable information and cannot be tied back to you, your Account or your web browser.
Information Collected By Third Parties
We may allow third parties, including but not limited to our authorized service providers, advertising companies, corporate partners, and ad networks, to display advertisements through the Services. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies, to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. This information may allow them to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness.
Information Regarding Your Social Networks
How We Use the Information We Collect
Generally, we may use information that we collect about you to facilitate and enhance your use of the Services and perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.
Authorized agents and service providers: We may share your personal information, which may include your name and contact information (including e-mail address) with our authorized agents and service providers that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include maintaining our servers, fulfilling subscription requests, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting the functionality of the Services, providing payment fulfillment and reconciliation services, and supporting rewards programs, surveys and other features. These agents and service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
Our Site is intended primarily to offer information about us and the services we provide.
As mentioned above, we use “cookies” to help us manage our Site. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.
Collection and Sharing of Information
We collect non-personally identifiable information from our Site, such as the pages you have visited and the type of web browser you are using for internal purposes such as improving the design and content of the Site to make it more user friendly.
We collect personally identifiable information from our Site when you choose to provide it to us. This includes, but is not limited to: name, company name/website, postal address, telephone number, email address or any other Account information. For example, you may choose to send us personally identifiable information about yourself in an email or by completing an online form on our Site. We use this information only to contact you to respond to your inquiry. Once collected, we will store your personally identifiable information for a reasonable time for record keeping purposes. The information that we store is usually deleted as space requires or in the normal course of business.
Third Party Websites
We share Aggregate Information with our partners, service providers and other persons with whom we conduct business. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners can understand how and how often people use our Services and their services or websites, which facilitates improving both their services and how our Services interface with them. In addition, these third parties may share with us non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-personally identifiable information about you that they have independently developed or acquired.
As stated above, we do not currently collect financial information, as that information is collected and stored by our Payment Processor. However, we may from time to time request and receive some of your financial information from our Payment Processor for the purposes of completing transactions you have initiated through the Services, enrolling you in discount, rebate, and other programs in which you elect to participate, protecting against or identifying possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to manage our business
Updating/Deleting Your Information
If you’d like us to update, correct, delete, or deactivate any information that you have provided to us on this Site or through the Services, please send your request to us at email@example.com and we will process your request within a reasonable period of time after receipt.
The security of your information is important to us. We have implemented reasonable security measures to protect the information in our care, both during transmission and once we receive it. This includes, but is not limited to the use of encryption. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you have any questions about our security practices, please send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Information Related to Children
We are very sensitive to the issue of privacy rights of children, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we are made aware that we have received personally identifiable information from children, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personally identifiable information without your consent, please contact us at email@example.com.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We may disclose your information to third parties when we reasonably believe we are obligated to do so by law, and in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual prohibited activities, including but not limited to, fraud and situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person.
Finally, we may transfer information, including any personally identifiable information collected via the Services, to a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change.
If you are a registered user, you can access information associated with your Account by logging into the Services. Registered and unregistered users can access and delete cookies through their web browser settings.
For questions or concerns relating to privacy, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
